About

Daniel is Digital Innovations Lead at InsideOut Institute, where he leads a range of projects including the development of our eTherapy platform, expansion of the eClinic, and oversight of our online training systems. He is passionate about using technology to improve the availability, efficacy and ease access to life-changing therapy.

He previously worked at the NSW Data Analytics Centre, tackling complex problems using cross-government data, and contributed to a communications app startup. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney, with First Class Honours for his research on the AIDS crisis in Sydney.

The GP Hub is an innovative, evidence-based digital suite of tools supporting GPs in the assesment and management of people living with eating disorders in Australia. Designed with GPs, people with lived experience of eating disorders, clinicians, practice managers and practice nurses, the GP Hub serves as a one-stop resource to streamline patient care and support GPs.

SkillED: Pilot evaluation of an online CBT-based self-help program for eating disorders

SkillED is an online CBT self-help program with 11 self-paced modules that evaluates innovative engagement strategies - including individual treatment choice and just-in-time adaptive interventions - to reduce dropout rates and improve adherence and outcomes for individuals aged 12+ experiencing eating disorder symptoms.

The livED project offers a digital platform for people to share their experiences of living with and getting treatment for body image, eating or exercise concerns.
