InsideOut Institute is based at the University of Sydney, providing highly competitive higher degree research students with the opportunity to work alongside leading experts in eating disorder research, contributing to projects that advance prevention, early intervention, treatment, and recovery.

To be considered as a HDR student supervised at InsideOut Institute, you must meet the University of Sydney’s minimum eligibility requirements for postgraduate research study:

  • Have completed a substantial research project or thesis as part of previous university studies.
  • Hold a bachelors degree with first or upper second-class honours (or equivalent)
  • Meet the University’s English language proficiency requirements.
  • Have a viable funding pathway or secured funding.
  • Be eligible for an appropriate student visa, if you are an international applicant.
