About

Luka graduated from The University of Sydney in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours, First Class), majoring in Psychology. His honours thesis focused on the effects of social media algorithms on young women's body image. Luka’s research findings were presented internationally at the 2026 Appearance Matters Conference in Bristol, UK, and the 2026 International Conference on Eating Disorders in The Hague, Netherlands. Luka currently works within the NSW Service Development and Policy Team as a research assistant, where he primarily works on evaluations of IOI training programs. In addition to his work with IOI, Luka is also a Research Assistant in the Digital Body Image Lab at The University of Sydney, where he researches boys' body image and social media. Luka’s research interests include body image, social media, men's health and psychotherapy evaluation.
