Amanda Clayton

Occupational Therapist

About

I am a mental health Occupational Therapist who supports people with eating disorders, depression, anxiety and trauma recovery by creating a safe container to explore the factors that contribute to being unwell and assist people to find the inner and outer resources, skills and strengths that support them to be healthy, feel capable and have a fulfilling life. I can accompany people to community based activities where that is helpful due to anxiety or other social limitations. I have 20 years experience in hospitals and community settings, the past 6 years in private practice. I use EMDR therapy with trauma recovery when suitable. I offer a mobile service from Tweed Heads to Ocean Shores (northern NSW) plus online sessions for those out of area. I also have a clinic room in Murwillumbah.
