Webinar: Essential Counselling Principles for Dietitians Working in Eating Disorders

Last Reviewed: 06 Nov 2024

About this Webinar:

Dietitians have extensive knowledge of nutrition, food, and eating behaviours through their university training in medical nutrition therapy. However, collaborating with consumers with eating disorders requires specific counselling skills to enhance the therapeutic alliance and to effectively translate nutritional knowledge into the psychoeducational content that best supports consumers throughout their treatment journey. This 90-minute webinar will explore these counselling principles essential for working within this clinical area.
