InsideOut acknowledges the tradition of custodianship and law of the Country on which the University of Sydney and Charles Perkins Centre campus stands. We pay our respects to those who have cared and continue to care for Country. We are committed to diversifying research and eliminating inequities and discrimination in healthcare. We welcome all people regardless of age, gender, race, size, sexuality, language, socioeconomic status, location or ability.

The annual NSW Eating Disorder Coordinators’ Two-Day Meeting brings together Local Health District Eating Disorder Coordinators, InsideOut’s Statewide Service Development Team, representatives from the Ministry of Health, and InsideOut’s Lived Experience Consultant. It is an opportunity to share insights, successes, and challenges from the past year, as we work hard to improve eating disorder care across the NSW public sector.
Discussions explored a range of topics including workforce development, to ensure that NSW Health clinicians have the necessary knowledge and skills to support people living with eating disorders in both hospital and community treatment settings. These conversations were guided in collaboration with Bronny Carroll, InsideOut’s Lived Experience Consultant, ensuring that lived experience remains central to all decision-making and service development.
Collaborative sessions like these strengthen the ongoing efforts of Local Health Districts and Speciality Networks to provide the highest possible standard of treatment and support for individuals and families affected by eating disorders in NSW.
We look forward to continuing this important work with Eating Disorder Coordinators and Local Health Districts throughout 2026, and to coming together again for our next planning day in 2027.
