Eating Disorders – Treatment Resistant or Resistant Treaters?

28 May 2026 9:00am - 10:00am

Online

Approximately 1.1 million Australians are living with an eating disorder, with 27% of these individuals aged under 19 – up from 15% in 2012. Join Dr Lilian Zou (psychiatrist) and Dr Karen Spielman (general practitioner) for a clinically grounded webinar addressing this complex and often challenging area of mental health care. The session will cover the assessment and management of eating disorders, focusing on a team-based approach between psychiatrists and GPs, and practical suggestions to improve treatment pathways.
