Position Description

Supporting the NSW Service Plan for People with Eating Disorders (2021-2025) which aims to build and strengthen pathways to care; support development and implement evidence-based practice and build capacity within the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) workforce. Improving services for adults with eating disorders across the District, based within LHD-wide Mental Health Services, working with both key internal stakeholders and external service providers to provide adult specific eating disorder consultation liaison and capacity building to Mental Health, Medical, Dietetic, and other service providers. Working as an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team providing a clinical and consultative service to patients/clients of NNSWLHD and their families. Undertaking intensive short term care coordination using a multi-systemic collaborative approach including working with carers, and delivering evidence based short term interventions (both individual and group). Providing clinical leadership and supervision to NNSWLHD clinicians, and other relevant stakeholders relating to eating disorders.
