Katherine has worked in diverse project management and stakeholder engagement roles across the mental health and suicide prevention sectors for the past 5 years. Most recently, she was an Implementation Practice Manager at the Black Dog Institute, where she developed and delivered the national Suicide Prevention Capacity Building Program. Katherine also led the stakeholder engagement and implementation of the National Emergency Worker Support Service; co-designed a resource for Primary Health Networks on suicide prevention for veterans; and product managed two of Black Dog's digital interventions. Working closely with key stakeholders, Katherine facilitated the translation of research from LifeSpan and the National Suicide Prevention Trials to develop the pilot suicide prevention capacity building program, delivered to 8 sites across NSW. Katherine has previously worked at Lifeline, SANE Australia and the Interim Commission on Defence and Veteran Suicides. Katherine has a Bachelor of Communications degree and recently completed her Advanced Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Monash University.
