Sonja Skocic - Research supervisor

My experience working in the field of eating disorders dates back to the mid-1990s, has included decades of supporting people with eating disorders, their families and communities. I have held leadership positions at Royal Melbourne Hospital Eating Disorder Inpatient Unit, The Melbourne Clinic's Eating Disorder inpatient and day programs, and worked on the Executive Committee of the Australian & New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders of which I am a member. I have also published and presented in this area. I offer a range of support and treatment options for women and girls with eating disorders, their families and communities, including CBT-E, DBT, ACT, Meal Support Training, Mindfulness and feminist approaches to understanding and treating eating disorders and body image disturbance.
