Hi, I’m Samantha Risi, an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) with over eight years of clinical private practice experience.
My practice is weight-neutral, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed. I provide a calm, non-judgemental space to support individuals in rebuilding body trust, reducing food distress, and achieving sustainable nourishment at their own pace. I have a dedicated interest in supporting neurodivergent people (Autism and ADHD), tailoring practical strategies around sensory profiles, executive functioning, and interoception differences.
I support adolescent and adult clients across the eating disorder spectrum (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, and OSFED), as well as gastrointestinal health (IBS and food intolerances), Type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular health. I also have extensive experience as an NDIS dietitian managing complex disability nutrition and home enteral nutrition (PEG/PEJ feeds).
Recovery requires connected care. I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals—as well as families and key support networks to provide practical, consistent wrap-around care.
