Munise Bozkurt (She/Her) APD. CDED-D.
Accredited Practising Dietitian
Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician - Dietitian (ANZAED)
As a foodie first, Dietitian second, Nutritionist and Health Scientist, my ultimate goal is to assist people's relationship with food, body, and self. Supporting all ages and all groups of people wherever they may be around Australia via Telehealth/Video or face to face.
Treatment Approach
Munise completed her Masters in Dietetics at La Trobe University and has been working as a dietitian across various areas including community health, private practice across multiple GP clinics and Australian wide telehealth dietitian working with remote and regional communities. She has a keen interest in intuitive eating, metabolic conditions as well as eating disorders and disordered eating. Munise takes a person-centered, evidence-based treatment approach in her eating disorder care, using a non-judgemental, weight-neutral communication, respecting cultural and religious food practices. Together with the client working out their nutrition goals which may include but not be limited to harm minimisation, reduce disordered eating behaviours, improve flexibility around food, correct nutrient deficiencies, restore weight status where applicable, support long-term recovery and relapse prevention.
