Psychologist
Mandy has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and experience working in inpatient, outpatient and day program settings. She has been in private practice since 2008, with her work focusing on the treatment of disorders related to eating, dieting and weight and shape concerns. She works with people with body image concern and disordered eating, as well as those with eating disorders across the age range; and adults struggling with trauma, including post traumatic stress, complex trauma and attachment/relational difficulties. She provides after hours appointments, and longer term work if needed, and offers Medicare rebates to eligible clients. She also offers supervision to trainee and experienced psychologists, including those working with complex presentations; and provides training on eating disorders and trauma. Mandy is trained in evidence based treatment and practices from a core principles approach. She remains active in clinical research and is currently President-Elect of the Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders. She opened everyBody Psychology & Wellbeing to extend compassionate, experienced, and evidence informed treatment to those struggling with eating disorders and/or trauma, and their supports or carers.
