I am an empathetic and supportive Psychologist. I work collaboratively with clients and select treatment approaches carefully based on individual needs and preferences. I utilise evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Family-Based Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I strongly believe that by identifying what matters the most to each of us, we can make purposeful and sustained changes to improve our lives. A key part of the treatment is identifying and working towards achieving clients’ goals for therapy. I have experience in working with people with comorbid psychological (e.g., depression, anxiety) and physical health conditions (e.g., cancer, diabetes, chronic pain). I have a particular interest in supporting people to reduce their disease risk and to better manage chronic health conditions in whichever ways are most feasible for the client (e.g., medication, diet, physical activity, bariatric surgery).
