Korey is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a passion for helping people of all shapes, sizes and abilities to develop a healthier relationship with food, their mind and bodies. She utilises Health At Every Size (HAES®) and the Non-Diet Approach to guide her practice, with a commitment to providing compassionate and weight-neutral care.
Korey has a special interest in eating disorders and works across all diagnoses, formal and informal. She draws upon personal insight and her empathetic nature to best support her clients. She has experience working with children and adolescents involved in Family Based Therapy (FBT), where she believes it allows families and carers the opportunity to be directly involved in the care she provides.
Korey has an interest in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as neurodivergence. She also works with various chronic conditions, some of which include diabetes and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), providing strategies for nutritional management without a focus on body weight.
Korey is also a volunteer at Eating Disorders Victoria, where she is currently involved in the evaluation of the Carer Coaching Program. She is also a member of the Victorian Eating Disorders Research Network (VEDRN), the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders (ANZAED) and HAES® Australia. Additionally, Korey is an ambassador for The Butterfly Foundation and has been involved in several campaigns and media releases such as podcasts, news articles and blog posts.
