Janene England Clinical Psychologist (B.Psych Hons M.Psych Clin MACPA) For the treatment of Eating Disorders, I am trained in evidence-based therapies Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E) and Maudsley Family Based Therapy. I am also trained in CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for the treatment of a broader range of mental health difficulties. I work collaboratively with my clients from a compassionate standpoint to create a safe a supportive space for therapeutic change. I have worked in an inpatient hospital setting for over 16 years and provided psychological treatment for adults presenting with acute mental illness and distress. Since joining a private practice in 2019, I have worked with adolescent and adult clients presenting with a range of struggles, including depression, anxiety OCD, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, and eating disorders. My areas of special interest include anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders. I am an AHPRA approved supervisor and have provided supervision to students enrolled in Clinical Masters and Registrar Programs.
