PROFILE
Bianca is a Clinical Psychologist with a background in nutrition. She is experienced in helping people to develop more helpful and healing approaches to eating and body image. She is qualified to treat a range of psychological difficulties using evidence-based treatments consistent with current psychological research. Her focus is in the treatment of eating disorders and associated issues, both in adults and adolescents, and has special interest in the areas of selective (‘fussy’) eating and excessive/compulsive exercise. She is passionate about guiding individuals and families toward the development of functional patterns of behaviours and attitudes relating to food, eating and appearance.
Bianca completed a Nutrition degree at Curtin University, before completing a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Sydney University, followed by the completion of a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) degree at the University of Western Australia. During her post-graduate training, she completed an internship with the eating disorders team at the Centre for Clinical Interventions (CCI).
Bianca’s approach to therapy is one of warmth, compassion and dedication. She believes in delivering person-centred evidence-based treatment, and working in collaborative and respectful partnerships with clients and colleagues. She is currently a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED), and is a credentialed eating disorder clinician.
