About

(community-based intensive service) The CYMHS EDP provides assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with primary diagnosis of eating disorder and their families living in the greater Brisbane area. CYMHS EDP provides state-wide services including telehealth assessment treatment and consultation for families open to child and youth mental health services across Queensland. CYMHS EDP provides supervision, training and consultation-liaison services state-wide. Treatment services include evidence based treatments for individuals, families and groups and a specialist day program for eating disorders. The specialist day program provides an intensification of treatment for families who have stalled in evidence based community treatment. The Day Program is informed by Family Based Treatment for Anorexia Nervosa and Emotional Focused Skills Training and incorporates an Education Queensland onsite school.
