About

CAMHS provides public mental health services from the perinatal period through to approximately 18 Years old. We see a variety of clinical presentations, and offer Single Session Family Therapy, individual assessment and treatment planning. We utilise a variety of therapeutic techniques, including family therapy, couples sessions, individual therapy of many kinds, psychiatrist review, a perinatal mental health team and a hospital team in the paediatric ward.We have a specific specialised eating disorder team, coordinating with the medical monitoring provided by the hospital system both inpatient and outpatient. We mainly offer a Family Based Treatment as our treatment approach (based on contemporary evidence based practice). However, we also arrange other therapies
