Chantal is a compassionate and empathetic Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a passion for providing a non-judgemental space for clients to explore their relationship with food, eating and body image.
Chantal practices from a weight-inclusive, non-diet and Health at Every Size perspective and is committed to providing trauma-informed dietetic care centred around clients’ lived experience. She believes in a holistic and collaborative approach to nutrition. Her aim is to empower clients to dismantle diet culture and focus on health behaviours to better manage chronic health conditions and improve health outcomes.
Chantal acknowledges how society and its social influences often normalise disordered eating and promote marginalisation of certain identities and populations. She brings this awareness and an open-mind to all sessions and is committed to providing high quality, client-centred care and advocating for clients every step of the way.
Chantal’s passion lies in supporting people with disordered eating, eating disorders and other mental health conditions, however she can also assist clients in managing medical conditions including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, IBS and other nutrition concerns.
Chantal is actively involved in HAES Australia as a co-convener of the Emerging Health Professionals Group, where she advocates for weight inclusive healthcare across multidisciplinary teams.
