With over 10 years’ experience working with people who have difficulties with their eating including helping those with anorexia, bulimia and binge eating, as well as, pre-bariatric counselling and assessments, I have a very well-developed understanding and competency in addressing the range of eating disorders, body image difficulties and anxiety. I have held leadership positions at hospital based eating disorder programs and am trained in a variety of evidenced based therapeutic approaches including; Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Enhanced (CBT-E), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills, and Mindfulness.
