Dietitian
Adelle uses a feminist, social-justice, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed lens for her work with clients. Meeting clients where they are at and supporting them during the distressing times of eating disorder recovery is what she's most passionate about. She always aims to dismantle diet culture with clients as she understands it has wrongly conditioned us to believe our body size and shape is valued more than who we are as people and what we can offer the world. She understands diet culture promotes body distrust, an impossible standard of beauty, oppression, discrimination and normalises disordered eating; she hopes to empower clients with this knowledge to heal their relationship with food and their body.
