Western Australia Eating Disorder Outreach and Consultation Services (WAEDOCS) is the primary health professional support service in WA. WAEDOCS is a multi-disciplinary team comprising a nurse practitioner, consultant clinical psychologist, consultant liaison psychiatrist, specialist physician, senior dietitian, clinical nurse specialist (mental health) and peer support worker. WAEDOCS is an outreach service offering clinician training and education, consultation liaison, clinical mentoring, and support to clinicians managing patients with eating disorders. WAEDOCS also offers resources to guide inpatient management of people with eating disorders, and operates Monday-Friday, 9.00am-4.00pm. WAEDOCS does not provide case management or treatment and/or support directly to patients.
