Lived Experience, Family & Carers Reference Group

The voice of people with a lived experience of an eating disorder — and the families and carers who walk beside them — shapes every part of our work.

About the Reference Group

InsideOut engages those with a lived experience of an eating disorder, their families and their carers to better understand the illness — and to work alongside every stream of our organisation to deliver better support and treatment outcomes.

Members shape research questions, advise our Teams, contribute to public conversation through podcasts and blogs, and help us hold ourselves accountable to the communities we serve. Whether you can give an hour or an ongoing commitment, there's a way to be involved that fits your life.
