Webinar on Applying REVIBE: Supporting Functional Dyspepsia and IBS in Eating Disorders

Webinar on Applying REVIBE: Supporting Functional Dyspepsia and IBS in Eating Disorders

Last Reviewed: 10 Sep 2025

About this Webinar

Did you know that up to 90% of individuals with eating disorders also experience functional dyspepsia (FD)? FD presents as upper gastrointestinal symptoms like early satiety, nausea, abdominal pain and bloating, burping, and post-meal fullness. Despite its prevalence, there are no standardised guidelines for managing FD with nutrition. This webinar will demonstrate how dietitians can use REVIBE to support clients with FD.

Through case study presentations, you will learn about evidence-based, multimodal strategies shown to improve FD symptoms. Additionally, we’ll explore how to apply REVIBE for different types of IBS, including constipation-predominant, diarrhoea-predominant, and mixed IBS, providing practical tools for each presentation.

Presented By: Elissa Robins

Elissa Robins is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) with 22 years of experience in hospital and private practice settings. Elissa ran Inner Health Nutrition for several years where she specialised in gastroenterology and eating disorders. In 2023, she shifted her focus to mentoring, clinical supervision, and training dietitians specialising in digestive health and eating disorders. Drawing on her extensive gastroenterology experience, Elissa developed the REVIBE protocol to help dietitians manage digestive disorders without relying on strict dietary eliminations. To date, Elissa has mentored and trained over 100 dietitians, in Australia and internationally, in successfully implementing REVIBE in their practice.
