Eating Disorder Coordinators from across New South Wales Health were hosted by InsideOut Institute, at the University of Sydney, for a professional development day focused on learning, connection, and celebration.
The event marked a significant milestone; all Eating Disorder Coordinator positions are now filled across every NSW Local Health District and Specialty Health Network. For the first time, every district has dedicated coordinator support available to help strengthen eating disorder care across NSW Health Services.

The day provided an opportunity for coordinators to connect, share experiences, build new skills, and strengthen professional networks. InsideOut Institute are proud to work closely with NSW Eating Disorder Coordinators, and provide practical support and upskilling opportunities for our coordinators. These initiatives are part of our continued commitment to support local health districts in the implementation of the NSW Health Service Plan for people with Eating Disorders, as work to improve the support and wellbeing for people with eating disorders and their families.
As the network continues to grow, the professional development day highlighted the value of statewide collaboration in improving access to high-quality eating disorder care for communities across NSW.
