The Eating Disorder Coordinator in your local health district provides clinical consultation and support to health professionals and teams treating people with eating disorders. This service is only available for health professionals.
Monique Perkins is the local eating disorder coordinator for the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD).
Monique’s background profession is in Dietetics, where she has worked for both ACT Health and NSW Health as well as the private sector. In these roles, Monique has witnessed first-hand the difficulties in accessing quality and timely treatment for those suffering with an Eating Disorder. Monique joined the Eating Disorder Coordinator team in 2018 where she has been passionate about working to improve services, build workforce capacity and access to quality and timely services, especially to those living in rural and remote areas.
