A clinical psychologist by training, Professor Cindy Bulik has been conducting research and treating individuals with eating disorders since 1982 and holds the first endowed professorship in eating disorders in the United States.
Prof Bulik believes the Australian Eating Disorders Research and Translation Centre is an opportunity to do things differently; for the country to become a leader in figuring out what causes eating disorders and how best to treat everybody, not just a subset of people with eating disorders.
This podcast episode is part of a series recorded at an ideation day for the Australian Eating Disorders Research and Translation Centre (a national consortium led by InsideOut Institute).
