Peter Beumont Eating Disorders Outpatient Group Programs

Community Clinic or Program

About

If you are interested in participating in these group programs please click on the flyers below for details on how to register your interest. *Intensive Outpatient Program* This innovative program is suitable for adults (17 years and older) who are medically stable and who would benefit from a step-up from individual outpatient treatment or a step-down from inpatient treatment. Interventions include a combination of therapy groups, nutrition group, meal support, cooking sessions and individual reviews. Different group programs are available to suit adults who are willing to engage in active treatment as well as adults who are not quite ready to commit to active change but who are willing to explore their fears about recovery. Our group programs are adjunctive to individual treatment, i.e., all our patients have their own therapist/ psychologist whom they continue to see while they engage in our group programs. For more information, contact the Intake Clinician on 0484 346 291 (Monday-Friday 12-4pm).
