Kate (she/her) is a Senior Dietitian and Clinical Supervisor with 15 years of experience, known for her compassionate, collaborative and psychologically-informed approach to nutrition care. As an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC), Kate works with individuals navigating eating, weight, and body image concerns, and supports fellow dietitians in their clinical practice.
Kate's dietetic work with clients and supervisees is grounded in: Weight neutral dietetic care, Trauma-Informed and Neurodiversity-Affirming Care principles, Polyvagal Theory and ongoing learning from those with lived experience. Kate integrates an understanding of how safety, regulation, and embodiment shape our relationship with food and our body.
Kate has presented both nationally and internationally, including at the International Conference on Eating Disorders and the Australia & New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders, focusing on providing weight inclusive care within the field of eating disorders and disordered eating. She is a former Executive Committee Member of Dietitians Australia's Eating Disorder Interest Group and remains committed to advancing the field of Dietetics.
