Dr Jessica Swinbourne

Jessica is a clinical psychologist working in private practice and also at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She completed a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and PhD at the University of Sydney in 2008 with her research focusing on the comorbidity between eating disorders and anxiety disorders. She has published multiple peer reviewed papers, has presented at many national and international conferences and is committed to translating research findings into clinical practice. Jessica has training in CBT, MET/MI, Schema Therapy, DBT, ACT and EMDR. She is passionate about helping patients build self-efficacy and to better understand their behavioural patterns so that they can use that understanding to achieve positive and sustainable change.
