About

Courtney is a compassionate and non-judgmental psychologist who values building a collaborative therapeutic relationship with her clients. Her approach is grounded in a psychological flexibility framework, helping clients mindfully engage with their experiences to address current concerns and enhance their quality of life. Courtney tailors therapy to each individual’s needs, drawing on evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Schema Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She also has an interest in Polyvagal Theory and practices from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective, as well as providing neuro-affirming and gender-affirming care.

Courtney has worked with people across the lifespan in a range of mental health settings including research, community mental health, non-profit organizations including the Butterfly Foundation, and both private and public hospitals. She has experience in working with a wide range of issues including eating disorders, body image concerns, depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, perfectionism, and life transitions. She works with clients aged 16 and older.

Courtney earned her Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Deakin University in Melbourne and her Master of Clinical Psychology from the Australian Catholic University (ACU) in Sydney.
