Courtney is a compassionate and non-judgemental psychologist who prioritises a collaborative therapeutic relationship with her clients. Courtney approaches therapy from a psychological flexibility framework, guiding clients to mindfully engage with their experiences in a way that helps them to add value to their life and manage their current concerns. She incorporates a variety of therapeutic approaches into her practice to suit the needs of each individual including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Schema Therapy. Courtney has worked with people across the lifespan in a range of mental health settings including research, community mental health, not-for-profit organisations and private and public hospitals. Courtney completed her Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at Deakin University in Melbourne and her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the Australian Catholic University in Sydney. She is currently undertaking her PhD also at the Australian Catholic University where she is developing a telehealth intervention to supplement treatment for anxiety and depression. She holds membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
