Dr Veronica Gonzalez-Arce

Veronica is an accomplished clinician, researcher and manager with 18 years’ experience in clinical practice and more than 10 years of clinical research and project management for private and public health organizations in Australia and internationally, including clinical trials management for the Sydney & South Western Sydney Local Health Districts, Health Institutions, pharmaceutical industry and International Contract Research Organisation (CRO). She is currently working on statewide research & evaluations within NSW to inform policy development and NSW Health State Plans.

Veronica’s experience is extensive across the private and public sectors including basic science, health, health technology and the pharmaceutical industry at both national and international levels, with previous roles as National Medical & Operations Manager for the pharmaceutical industries in Mexico. Subsequently, she held a position as the Senior Manager of Operations for an international CRO working on innovative clinical trial projects throughout North America.

Her more recent experience has seen Veronica utilising her health care delivery skillset as a practitioner to advance patient care delivery and transformation of health systems across organisations. Veronica’s present focus lies in the implementation of innovative models of care and initiatives that can be translated across national and international standards of healthcare with projects that have been granted 3 Quality Awards and 2 nominations for NSW Health Awards.
