Julie Xu

Julie Xu is the Finance Administrator of InsideOut Institute, who joined the group in August 2022. She provides professional support in budgeting and forecasting, monitors the financial situation of each project and account, and streamlines the accounting process. Julie achieved Master of Commerce at the University of Sydney and has been working at the university for 15 years.  

Previously, Julie worked as Finance Officer for the Faculty of Science for more than 10 years. Here she developed diverse accounting and finance experience, including reporting, data analysis, general ledger and purchasing. In 2020 Julie moved the University of Sydney’s Research Portfolio in the Post Award team, where she gained extensive experience in the research contract process and built the ability to link financial thoughts with their legal environment and frameworks.
