BEING is the independent, state-wide peak organisation for people with a lived experience of mental illness. BEING gathers information and lobbies decision makers about issues relevant to the mental health system, and encourage mental health consumers to provide input into decision making concerning the way mental health services are provided. BEING has an advisory role to the State Government and does not offer individual advice.
