Hosted by InsideOut with Sydney Local Health District, this year’s Forum centered around the theme “Eating Disorders are Everybody’s Business”, reflecting the need for a whole team approach to the treatment of eating disorders, including carers and consumers in the team.
The collaboration between specialist and mainstream services is critical to ensuring eating disorders do in fact become everybody’s business, which was an important focus of the forum this year.
The forum also addressed engaging family & carers in treatment, how to develop models of care and embedding eating disorder treatment community mental health services.
