Developing a Model of Preventive Health Care for People with Intellectual Disability

Through interviews and focus groups, we will consult with people with intellectual disability, their support networks and health professionals to identify the barriers and facilitators faced by people with intellectual disability when accessing preventive healthcare. The overarching aim of the project is to improve health outcomes for people with intellectual disability.

We are recruiting people with intellectual disability, their support networks and health professionals. We are sharing recruitment material on social media, with our partners, organisations and other contacts. People who are interested in the study are free to contact the researcher whose details are listed on the recruitment material. People are free to share this recruitment material with other potential participants who may be interested in the study.\
