About the research trial
We would like to invite you to participate in a study on TikTok use. We are interested in understanding the degree to which people view and engage with appearance-oriented videos on TikTok.
Recruitment details
You will be asked to create a free account with University of Melbourne research platform, Unforgettable.Me. You will be asked to complete the following tasks:\

Request your TikTok usage data via the TikTok app. It may take several days for your data to be made available.\
\
Complete an online questionnaire assessing demographic information, body image, eating disorder history, and eating disorder symptoms.\
\
Download and upload your TikTok usage data to the Unforgettable.Me research platform. You will be asked to upload data from the previous 1 month.\

Eligibility criteria:\
\
You have been using TikTok for at least 1 month.\
Your TikTok is not Douyin (Chinese TikTok).\
You are 16+ years old.\
\
