HAVE YOUR SAY! Australia’s Top 10 Eating Disorders Research & Translation Priorities Project

Research – and its translation into real world settings - has the potential to change lives and should be driven by the people it impacts.

That’s why we’re inviting individuals who have a lived experience of an eating disorder and their loved ones, as well as clinicians and researchers, to help determine the future of eating disorder research and policy in Australia, by way of an online survey and workshop on November 18 and 19

The results of The Top 10 Eating Disorders Research & Translation Priorities Project will be used as one of the many consultation elements to inform the Australian Eating Disorders Research & Translation Strategy 2020-2030.

This Federal Government funded Strategy will recommend strategic priorities and associated actions for supporting eating disorder research - and the translation of research - into real world prevention, early intervention and treatment across community and practice settings nationally.

The Project is using the Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) methodology developed by the James Lind Alliance (JLA) which is the gold standard process for identifying research priorities and ensures all views are represented equally.
