The Eating Disorder Coordinator in your local health district provides clinical consultation and support to health professionals and teams treating people with eating disorders. This service is only available for health professionals.
Jessika Hill is the local eating disorder coordinator for the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), a role shared with Monique van Leeuwen.
I’ve been working with people experiencing an eating disorder since 2019. I was first a Registered Nurse in General Medicine and Renal wards providing acute medical and mental health care for patients in hospital. The lessons I learnt from these experiences inspired me to develop a new nursing role for the NSLHD Eating Disorder Service. I have been a Clinical Nurse Specialist 2 (CNS2) for 3 years and have completed my Masters of Nursing (Majoring in Mental Health). I am passionate about providing holistic care to patients and families to achieve patient-driven goals and outcomes, as well as supporting the growth of clinician and service capacity.
