Meg Vickery is the local eating disorder coordinator for the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD).
Navigating access to assessment and evidence-based treatment can be difficult, especially in rural areas without specialist eating disorder services. Meg assists consumers and their families to access eating disorder assessment and treatment in a variety of ways including development of pathways and models of care for rural clients to access care locally and in the least restrictive environment. They also provide clinical consultation to local clinicians, workforce training, contribution to rural research projects and more. Meg has been working as a Dietitian since 1996.
