Launch of the first Australian Eating Disorder Research and Translation Strategy

InsideOut Institute is proud to host the Hon Minister Coleman, Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, to launch Australia’s first Eating Disorder Research & Translation Strategy.

The Strategy has been developed in collaboration with and co-designed by hundreds of individuals, organisations and key stakeholders, including people with lived experience, researchers, clinicians, eating disorder organisation and the broader mental health community.

As part of the event, we will announce the current Top 10 Eating Disorder Research and Translation Priorities and an online discussion about the priorities will occur immediately after the launch.

Panellists representing lived experience, clinical and research perspectives will discuss the importance of research in the field, the potential contribution of the Top 10 and the value of research to improving the health and wellbeing of the millions of Australians who experience eating disorders and their families.
