Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with eating disorders? We are looking for a dedicated Eating Disorders Clinician to join our Eating Disorders Outpatient Service (EDOS) team. This crucial role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality clinical services, consultation, and support to clients and their families in the community setting.

We are looking for someone who will thrive in an innovative, supportive and professional environment. They  will work within a specialist multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses and allied health clinicians and have access to specialist group clinical supervision and training.

EDOS provides specialised assessment, referral, brief intervention and full treatment for people with an eating disorder and support for families and carers who live within the Central Coast Local Health District.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Clinical Care: Deliver expert clinical services to clients with eating disorders, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing support.
• Consultation & Liaison: Provide professional consultation and liaise with healthcare providers regarding the management of eating disorders.
• Clinical Leadership: Offer senior-level expertise in the development and implementation of specialized eating disorder care practices, ensuring adherence to the EDOS Model of Care.
• Cultural Change: Advocate for and promote increased awareness and understanding of eating disorders across the health district, encouraging cultural transformation in care delivery.
